UMT in corporation with supply chain to promote industrial upgrade and obtains a Certification of Gratitude from the Ministry of Economic Affairs

Since 2020, the world had suffered from the influences of COVID-19. Unexpected social and financial turmoil were raised during the recent years. After three years of hard work from medical and research professionals, humans are gradually getting used to the coexistence with the virus.
In order to sympathize with the hard work of local enterprises in maintaining their operations in this period, and to strengthen the resilience of economy and society after the pandemic, the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs have allocated a fund to subsidize the manufacturing industry in a “Drive the smalls” approach, encouraging big companies to motivate and assist supply-chain factories to join the introduction of low-carbon and smart production technology, equipment and management mechanisms.
UMT is honored to join this project on June 2023. We have made our upgrades to the smart production of microwave components for 5G and low-orbit satellite applications and shared our achievements and technologies to our four supply chain manufacturers, and thus received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
UMT is thankful for the support from the Taiwanese government towards the development of domestic economy and enterprises. In addition to the smart upgrades, we will also be working on the low-carbon upgrades in the nearly future.
