Universal Microwave Technology, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Dr. Tungyi Wu.

Dr. Wu, President of UMT, has almost 20 years direct experience in microwave engineering, marketing and management. He earned his M.S.E.E. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Under his direction, UMT has built up a highly efficient R&D group with state-of-the-art design tools to provide the best delivery and highest- performing products for our clients.

Strategically located in Taiwan, we are able to provide high quality products with competitive prices for our customers based on a ready supply of highly skilled, relatively low-cost technicians.
